About the Event

The Brazilian Symposium on Information Security and Computer Systems (SBSeg) is a scientific event organized annually by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and was conducted between 2001 and 2004 in the form of workshop, in conjunction with the Brazilian Symposium on Networks Computer and Distributed Systems (SBRC). From 2005,
concurrently with the creation of the Special Commission on Information Security and Computer Systems, the SBSeg became organized as a solo event. This fact allowed to meet the growing demands of the Brazilian community of researchers and practitioners working in the area, leading SBSeg the position of principal in the Country forum for
the presentation of research and relevant activities related to information security and systems.

The 13th edition of SBSeg will be held on November 11 to 14, in Manaus, Amazonas, under the organization of the Institute of Computing at the Federal University of Amazonas. The symposium will provide a rich variety of activities, such as technical sessions, short courses, lectures by experts from Brazil and abroad, panels and workshops.
